A satsuma is a small, seedless, and very sweet mandarin orange. It is known for its super-easy-to-peel 'zipper skin,' which makes it the ultimate lazy person's fruit! It's delicious. Like so many citrus fruits, satsumas come into season in the winter, around January. I can eat them six at a time.
